How far to the beach?

Keadue beach is approx 3km away and 4 mins by car or 25 min walk, there is an area where you can park opposite the football pitch (Keadue Rovers)

Where do I park my car?

Parking on site next to the large White House which is currently getting refurbished.

Is the toilet/bathroom outside?

No, toilet and bathroom is upstairs in bedroom area, stairway is outside to gain access to bedroom/toilet area.

What are midges?

We would advise to have insect repellent if you go out walking or hiking. We do recommend packing some insect repellent anti-histamine cream in case you do get a few bites, and need to help ease itchiness. Read more here 

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, please make sure you clean up any mess.

Is there much wildlife around?

Out walking along the Burtonport Walkway you will see loads of birds, insects and possibly deer, when coming out of the drive/ property on the left about 5 mins away by foot is a lovely walk which you can see Lough Waskel just walk along the road until you see a walkway on the right hand side , will be signposted Burtonport Walkway.
